well, the day wasn’t completely over after me and olivier had been to sf moma — far from.
it was a sunny afternoon and we walked out from the museum into the sun and up to north beach. it’s by the way close to here that the sony bravia bouncy balls commercial was shot, if you remember it.
we got down to fisherman’s wharf and timed our hunger perfectly, so we ordered clam chowder in bread bowls at boudin.
and then walked along the docks where there’s a ton of small boats bobbing.
we strolled through the wharf.
and over to fort mason where the sunlight shone through the trees and it was so pretty everything.
up from the walkway along fort mason you can look down towards the perking lot where the foodtruck festival off the grid takes place every friday night. let’s go there later! we said. after all, we had just eaten. hehe. instead, we walked aaaaall the way along the water.
to this massive beauty!
it wasn’t as cold as i had dreaded (phew). the wind is always crazy here, but this evening it was okay, so we crossed the almost 3 km long bridge.
it was as beautiful as always. we walked all the way to the end where marin county starts, and then all the way back.
as we walked back towards fort mason, the sun started setting behind ggb.
we passed marina green as it started to get darker, and reached off the grid where we had a korean/japanese fusion burger and fried shrimps soul food. yum yum yum yum.
